Summary
We have entered into a partnership with Sport Birmingham to deliver a needs led coach and volunteer education programme to support local community associations, public and private providers, coaches, officials and volunteers.
Approach
Working closely with the Birmingham Coaching Officer, we are organising a range of qualifications, courses and workshops. Our responsibilities will include:
- Administration of all aspects of courses / workshops / qualifications
- Responding to course requests by any organisation for open / closed courses
- Tutor management
- Delivering an effective quality assurance system
- Developing suitable resources for clubs and coaches
- Sourcing suitable facilities to host coach education courses
- Assisting the partnership should they wish to develop and hold any specific events for coaches / volunteers
Sport Birmingham will still be managing and promoting the courses via their dedicated coaching website www.BirminghamSportCoaching.org and will the function to register coaches via the website will still remain.
