Summary:
Sport Structures were contracted by the West of England Sport Trust to develop the evidence for the Child Protection standard for sport.
Approach:
Sport Structures staff undertook training both internally and with the CPSU to gain further knowledge and understanding of the subject area and the needs of the standard. Following this Sport Structures developed a policy and an action plan for consultation. These were circulated for consultation and agreement within the Trust.
Outcome:
Evidence for the standard collated for Wesport.
