Outline
British Wheelchair Basketball identified a need for additional tutors and wanted to ensure that their workforce held the correct tutoring qualification to support their existing wheelchair basketball experience and knowledge.
Approach
We organised tutor training for the workforce to support their ongoing development. We took into consideration the content used to deliver level 1 and level 2 courses to make the learning experience as relevant as possible.
“The hope is that the quality of delivery would be better after completing the qualification and that they would have the tools to continue to develop further”.

Outcome
The training was delivered over three days and a total of five tutors attended the training. Feedback was positive and all tutors felt that the experience was valuable - enabling them to refresh their knowledge and challenge their current practice.
