Summary:
We developed an equality good practice guide to be used by all people involved in Cricket that focused on how support the participation of under-represented groups.
Approach:
Following our equality issues and barriers work with the ECB, we were asked to develop a useful guide that would encompass information on sports equity, good practice case studies and practical suggestions for supporting underrepresented groups within cricket. We carried out desk based research with a number of ECB staff and volunteers and consulted with representatives from equality organisations in the development of the guide.
Outcome:
An equality document for those involved in cricket to refer to in the development of the Game at all levels.
