Summary
In 2009, we established a partnership with England Handball to support the administration and management of their coach education programme. We provided this service for seven years.
Approach
As part of the partnership, we had specific responsibilities which included:
- Being pro-active and re-active in terms of organising courses nationally
- Learner administration
- Qualification & resource administration
- Workforce administration
- Quality assurance
- Post course learner administration
Outcome
In the first year of the partnership, we delivered 32 courses which was an improvement from 23 in the previous year. This grew to 132 level 1 courses in 2012 as part of the Olympic legacy programme. We also supported England Handball with various CPD days for coaches and Sportivate insight
