Summary
We were contracted by three of the UK Disability organisations to develop a range of programmes to increase their ability to respond to the needs of the governing body needs in relation to disability. We supported UK Deaf sport in the development of their strategic and business plan and a funding plan to support this need.
Approach
We facilitated sessions with the board to develop the vision, mission and key objectives for the coming four years. From this we developed a business plan for the first year of operation. This had key outputs and outcomes and was planned in over the year. To support we developed a funding plan that will enable UK Deaf Sport to target different funding streams and approaches to raise further income. It also assisted UK Deaf Sport in clarifying their membership.
Outcome
UK Deaf Sport are more focused on their key business objectives and how to raise further funds to support this growth over the coming four years. Sport Structures will provide support over the next two years in review and revision of the business plan.
